Pastor Sam was born and raised in NW Indiana. He grew up poor and when he was 13 years old his parents divorced. He became a troubled youth who got involved in crime and the occult. At the age of 16, he lost a friend who was murdered by her estranged boyfriend. At the age of 17, two other friends were brutally murdered. These tragedies sent him on a quest to understand the human condition. At 19 years old, he went to work for two years on Death Row. In 2002 the Lord called Sam into His service. Many thousands of hours were spent in study and prayer. Today Pastor Sam attends Liberty University, Rawlings School of Divinity. He has a beautiful wife Audrey, and they have two teenage children and a twenty-two year old. They have been married for 20 years this past June. Pastor Sam understands the struggles of this world. He has had plenty but has also been hungry. He has been humbled by God and knows what it's like to beg with a cardboard sign to feed his family. He has been to the bottom and has scaled mountains with God on the climb up.
